Speccy, developed by Piriform, is a freeware utility software and runs under Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP for both IA-32 and 圆4 versions of these operating systems, which shows the user information about hardware and software of the computer. NOTE: If these prompts occur when running Speccy even with this option checked, please uncheck it, then restart the computer, and check the option once more to reset it.Windows 10, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP, including both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, but not RT tablet editions The Skip User Account warning option will allow Speccy to bypass the UAC warnings that Windows will commonly prompt you for when a program might modify data on the hard drive. If you select the Save all settings to INI file option, they will be saved to the speccy.ini file in the Speccy program directory. You can use this option to copy your Speccy settings to a new computer just by copying the speccy.ini file. By default, Speccy's settings are saved in the Registry.You must have an active Internet connection for this option to work. To automatically check for updates online, select Inform me for updates to Speccy. You also can specify whether temperature readings are in Metric (C) or Imperial (F) we recommend use of Metric, however, as this is what most specifications for computer parts are in.

To change the user interface language, select it from the Language drop-down box.You can change Speccy's settings by clicking View, and then Options from the main Speccy menu.
